Do hair transplants work effectively?

What are the different types of Hair transplant procedures?
Fue Hair transplant, FUT hair transplant and Direct Hair implant are the common methods of hair transplant. In fue hair transplant, hair follicles are harvested from the skin and implanted in another part where there is hair loss or baldness.
In FUT hair transplant, a strip is removed from the back of the scalp to remove individual hair follicles from them which are implanted in hair loss. Hair is harvested from the donor area.
There is another method called Direct Hair implant (DHI) where hair is harvested from a strip in the back of the hair and implanted in bald ares using a specialized pen.

What factors determine how many hair I need?

But broadly things like your expectation, your hair type, the colour of the skin, the level of baldness, projected future hair loss, your age and your family history determine how many hairs you need.
